Karklin continues hot streak- 4th place finish at Big Diamond Speedway

By Throttle Works:

Pottsville, PA. (June 24th, 2022) Jake Karklin continues to record successful performances with a 4th place finish at his first ever appearance at Big Diamond Speedway.

Jake started his night by advancing one spot in his heat race to finish fourth. This lined him up to start 7th in the 25 Lap Feature event. Karklin did not hesitate and was already up into the 4th position with just six laps down in the feature. Karklin was able to drive his way through lap traffic and finished the night with a 4th place finish. This was his first time ever racing at Big Diamond. Karklin continues to sit 4th in United Racing Club Points!

“The track was pretty demanding but widened out a little bit.” Karklin stated. “We made the right changes and know a baseline to go off of for next time. Happy to write another Top 5 in the books.”

The team prepares for Port Royal on Wednesday, June 28th with URC, as part of a Pennsylvania Speedweek show. “I’ve been super pumped to get back to Port Royal, and hope to perform well.”

Karklin Racing team is actively searching for sponsorship and Jake would love to chat with any business who would be interested in coming on board. We still have spots open on the car for the 2022 Season. Contact Jake through Facebook or by email jacobkarklin@gmail.com
